Sick, Sick, Sick – Wordy Wednesday

I can’t do a Wordless Wednesday today. Not unless I put up pictures of overflowing wastebaskets full of Kleenex! And who wants to see that? Not me, and I would think you wouldn’t want to either.

We’ve both been sick for over a week now. The odd time I have thought, “I have to put up a blog post” but that thought gets quickly replaced with “Oh, my farkin head”.

So, bear with us ok? We’ll be back to normal soon, I sure hope. We’ve had to postpone a trip to the Coast – we wanted to get down there to see family and friends. My oldest son is going to school on Vancouver Island for a while and we wanted to see him and spend some time together.

Maybe next week.

In the meantime, we’ll lay low and spend the day in our jammies.

Aw, it seems like everyone is sick. well, not quite. I was sick, but Jim didn’t get sick a bit! Then I heard from one of my daughters in Ohio who has been sick for a while, then you read on this blog post or that one and somebody is sick. Yet others are not sick at all. This ‘bug’ seems to completely pass them by…

I hope you and Gman get well soon… no fun being sick!

It sounds like the same there as it is here – lots sick here as well. And some people find that it just hangs on and on and won’t go away. Thanks Linda

So sorry you both are sick…I hope some of your good teas, a little honey, lemon, IRISH :-) all mixed together help. Lay low and save your energy. You will be up and at ‘em soon.

      Thanks Robin…snuffle, sniff….

It’s been so nice and sunny in the afternoons here and Graham is finding it hard to just stay inside all day. We’re sitting in the sunshine pouring in the windows and it feels great!

Hi Annie, I hope you’re getting all the rest you need. Keep your feet warm and eat some oranges! That’s what I suggest! Oh and drink lots of water, as my dad would say. Feel better soon please. :)

Hi Amanda, thanks for that! Hopefully within a few more days we’ll both be back up and raring. Right now, breathing is taking any energy we feel lol…it’s been a long time since we’ve been this sick.

  5. I hope your household is healthy soon.
