Home to Our Valley

Our first stint of 2013 in Prince Rupert is ending and we are turning out focus back to our wonderful place in the Valley. We have really missed the Cariboo terribly and all our friends there. Today, I am spending most of the day packing. I have packed and unpacked so often in this last year, I am getting a lot quicker with it. More organzed too and that is a great thing. We are heading for home very early Friday morning.

One of the guys on Graham’s crew is going to stay in the house while we are gone. Win-win, gotta love it. We’ll be home in the ‘Boo for about a week. Then we’ll be packing up (again!) and bringing the 5th wheel down to Southern California. We are so looking forward to a bit of down time and hopefully lots of golf with friends.

Here’s a picture of our place in the Winter – can’t wait to get back there!

Thanks Robyn, yup, you were right. There is a lot of snow at our place. Thankfully, one of our great neighbours plowed the driveway for us so we could get in!

Looks so beautiful and homey–so what made you leave and go to Prince Rupert?

Hi Tim, There is a lot of work right now in Northern BC, and a lot in Prince Rupert. We were here for a while last year for Graham’s work, and there should be still a lot of work for this year. We still have our Valley place and are actually there right now. I am writing from the coffee shop in town :)
