We enjoy wine making as one of our winter hobbies. Since we grow several different kinds of fruit and can forage the rest in the bushes, our freezers are often filled with berries. We freeze them fresh, then thaw and create in the winter when we have so much more free time.
Our adventures with wine making has had some incredible results. We love to mix different berries and often end up with a Bumbleberry Wine of some kind.
This Saskatoon Raspberry blended wine is still easily our favourite of all our Wild Wines.
Our ebook contains both the recipe and entire process to create a batch of your own Saskatoon/Raspberry blended wine. Substitute blueberries or honeyberries for the Saskatoon berries, if you harvest those instead.
The recipe is for a 5 gallon batch, but you can easily reduce the recipe to a 2 1/2 gallon or even a 1 gallon batch. If you enjoy wine, begin making your own. Get some started today and find out how easy it really is.
